BillinNashville said: Just looking at the pictures of your interior gives me the willies. I haven't started the interior of my 74. I have decided to do Body and Paint first. I'll be replacing the door panels and carpet/insulation but I hope I don't have to tear into the Dash. So far everything there looks ok, worn but ok. I'll be watching this thread. It will give me inspiration. Right now I have had to stop working on the Corvette. I have a house to remodel.
No problem. You can finish the house remodel this week, and get back to the vette next week

Hey, I saw your pics of your work on your 75 and became a member. I also have a 75 that I have been doing work to, and that takes time and money.I have to do the heater core too,but I don't have air conditioning. I just found a rear fiberglass bumper that a guy bought about 20 years back and never put on. I got a good deal $100.00, but to get it back over the border and the size of the box, it cost me over double for the shipping. You seem to be going at a good pace and i'll keep staying in tune, watching how it's going. GOOD JOB

Hey Jason...I'm loving those side pipes...Great progress! Still working on mine also...getting there slowly but surely. I still couldn't find a good defroster vent grill online....so keep yours and salvage if at ALL possible! I can't find a reproduction or use part anywhere.
I'm working on the drivers side dash and steering column now...finally got my carpet in and trying to decide if I want to buy new door panels at an ungodly amount a piece. Keep posting brother...a bunch of us out here are working along with ya! More money, more time, more toys...sorry...that was my wish list! Best wishes! Rick

So:
I have two sets of headlamp assemblies they fit 1975-1982. One set has been inspected and both actuators work, the springs are there and everything seems to be in good working order. There is one screw broken off in one side front of the headlamp bezel and the two front screws are missing from the other side. The front support ends are in great shape and the rear mounting area is not falling apart. I want 650.00 for the pair. I have not inspected the second set yet but will do soon.

well I finally got the heater core in, replaced the windshield washer bottle, it had leaks

replaced motor mounts with solid mounts, replaced the tranny mount with poly.
Installed passanger side headers, made new AC bracket to go over the headers.
body mounts should be here in a few days. I'm still redoing the insulation on the firewall
I pulled the column out today.
