I have my Vette in the Body Shop here is a link showing the progress.

Pretty hard to be patient here. They seem to be tearing it down all the way and sanding to the glass. The new L88 Hood is fitted and looks nice.

Thanks for the nice comments Gals and Guys. The two owners of the Body Shop are doing all the work on my car, he said he would need a month. They have owned quite a few Vettes themselves, so I am confident they will do it right. They don't seem to be taking any shortcuts, which is good. It has been in two weeks. Quite a bit done already, if it isn't done by the end of March it should be done by the middle of April. Hopefully the potholes will be filled by then! Because she will be on the road. I finally got my garage cleaned out and have a list of things I want to get done on her when she comes back. The Paint Job being done is a good start. Always time and money. Never seem to have both. There is always next year!

COOL!!!
Let 'em take their time. If the humidity is up, you don't want 'em painting. The guy that shot mine took much longer than expected, of course, we broke a 12 year drought with about 4 months straight with rain.
Did they strip yours with chemicals? I had 8 previous unremoved coats, so my guy stripped it by hand with a razor blade. Sure looked good when he got done, though. I still have to get a good pic for my sig, but if you read Shark Bytes, she's the black '80 with the red stinger hood.
Can't wait to see pix of yours finished.

Nice car before - can't wait to see the after pics. Great idea to have pics along the way too!
I'd be curious to know if you had them strip with chemical, razor blade or just sanding it. Do they intend to remove the nose and tail sections as well? I can't tell if the door handles and locks are off either?
What kind of paint are they using? I understand here in Canada it now has to be base/clear due to air quality restrictions.
Good luck with your baby, pleasde post more pics as they are available.

Looks good Gene! She looks as though she is giving you a wink of approval.... Don't pass out when the shoot that ugly bland looking base coat on. Until I saw the clear shot on it I was wondering what theck I had done wrong!

Looks like they're moving right along Gene. I noticed that they cut the top 2 fender corners off to reseal one of the most notorious C3 leak areas. They definitely know what theyr'e doing!!!
