Topic: 78/79 Dealer brochures
in Forum: C3 General Discussion
When my uncle ordered the vette in Utah it arrived in late December and around the time a big snow storm hit and it sat roped off in the show room for a couple of months with a big SOLD sign in the window. Since the dealer sold a bunch of cars from his sitting in the showroom, they gave my uncle pretty much all the original dealer materials. Lucky for Bradshaw Chevrolet and me!

What kind of condition are the 79 brochures in? Are they like new, or are they like they've been sitting on a dusty shelf for 26 years?
I know they're free, so not to be picky, but I already have a brochure, but if yours are "like new", I'd take one.
Thanks!

My first Vette, now owned by JB79:

Adam, the ones I have are '78 brochures, not '79s.
In any case, they are "brand new 27 year old brochures;" in other words, they are essentially in perfect condition, but do not look like something that just rolled out of the print shop yesterday.
If you still want, you are certainly welcome to have one or more. As a matter of fact, since I've had no takers concerning my offer, I'd be happy to give all of them to you if you'd like to make them available at the C3VR booth at Carlisle. And since we live in the same area, I'm sure we can figure out some way to easily get them into your hands.

Mike, recieved the other day. Thanks much!
