Vette(s): 1978 Indy Pace Car. All original. A true survivor. 2nd owner Only 300 miles.
Need opinions please! I’ll be taking delivery of a 78 Pace Car and the door decals were never applied. So do I? or not?
Thanks!

Your call. Seems like most pace cars are shown with the graphics and I kinda of expect to see the lettering when I see a black/silver shark. But you already own a two tone and know how nice they look without letters. Add them and then you'll have a C3 with & without!

Only 34 years together
I have 2 Pontiac Trans AM pace cars. an 80 and a 99. I have the decal kit for both but I think they are cleaner looking without them. Its really a personal preference. Another thing to think about if you put them on now is 20 years down the road should you need a replacement set for any reason think what they will cost and how hard it may be to find them.

Thanks guys! This will be a replacement for the 82 I currently own. My other issue is that the decals are approx. 37 years old. I think I’ll have em installed and maybe get a replacement set now for the future!
I personally prefer the look with the door decals. Just part of the whole pace car package. But, it's your call. Mine is repainted and I got the complete set from Phoenix Graphic. I would not try to put the original old ones on. Too old and they might have be worth something as originals.
