Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.
We are having a heat wave today. 38 degrees and then dropping to the low teens again.  I ran out to the womans house, uncovered the car, gave it 4 pumps and started the beast up.  Ahhh the sweet sounds of my corvette.

Let it run for about 40 mins, shut down and recovered her up but of course I gave the obligatory kiss goodbye until next time.  I just have to keep my blood going here.  Spring is out there somewhere.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

Hey Indy,
I did the same thing here, today. What with the 40 degree temp. and all.
It's supposed to drop back down in to the low 20's tomorrow and stay at least that cold for the next week or so.
Good therapy for the 'Vette & the owner!Approve

The weather in Texas is GREAT, especially the last 2 days!  I can't even start my C3 up!  It might be cold and a lot of snow where you all are, but at least you can start 'em up and listen to the engine.  My car is still gutted.........engine is still out.CryAngry

I just couldn't resist that 70 degree temp and Carolina blue skies today. I drove it to town, just to blow the cobwebs out. Approve

I enjoyed running my baby today too.  I try to get out there at least once a month, as long as the weather allows.  Supposed to get some snow and hard freeze tonite, so I'm glad I got my Vette fix to keep me warm.
