Hello,
This is not a C-3 question but alot of you are very Corvette knowlegdable. Do any of you know if there was a Z06 option available for the 1964 Stingray. I know it was available for the '63. I also know that the "big tank" was available for the '64. But that was a different option that the Z06. I'm sorry that this is not a C-3 question but I happened to meet a fellow Vetter who claims his '64 is a Z06.
Thank you
ruffone

According to the Corvette Black Book by Mike Antonick the 36 gallon tank (RPO# N03) was put in 38 '64s. I don't know what RPOs collectively made the car offically a Z06 but there is a note under the colors list that 24 cars went out with "non-standard paint, or primer". My guess is those were not ordered for going to the grocery store or the post office.

Hey,
Thanks for the information. You have been very helpful. Hopefully we can set the record straight on this one.
Its getting into the 60's here today, I'm getting the fever to get my car out of storage. Once the ice is gone from the driveway I'll have it on the road.
Thanks again and save the wave....
