Your Corvette looks great ... I'm trying to decide what if anything to do to our hood ... where did you get your's, I like it .
I'm doing some very simular things to our '81 - I've just added a Comp Cam Extreme Energy Cam Flat Tappet Cam , a set of Dart Iron Eagle and a TPIS Mini Ram Intake (ground to Port Match the ports on Dart Heads) - then a set of the new 17" Cragar Series 61 Super Sport Chrome 17X8 Wheels with Continental Extreme Contact - directional tread 255/50/17 "Z" Rated tires ...
By the way, I'd say leave it the same color ... (but I'm biased ..
)
all this is expensive, but man what a neat C3 ...

I think I like the Mini Ram - I've only had it installed for 2 or 3 weeks & I've been tuning the Acell - DFI Electronic Control Module (that I added) to try to get the best performance out of the new "parts" - I'm on my way to the dyno on Wednesday ... it does not seem to have the H.P. that I would expect from the new parts nor the Torque ... we'll know by the end of the week ... it's fast & I should probably be satisfied, but you know how it is ... just alittle faster would be "OK" ...

About the hood, I do all my own work, the scoop cane off a 70 or 80 something Z28. I was pretty bored one day in the garage, and while staring at the scoop, I figured a way to make it look like a one piece mold. If you look at the rear of the scoop, it molds flat with the hood.
I did have to cut the hood, so the scoop woould drop
flat, If the car had a carb still, this would not work.

What kind of a fuel injector do you have?
