Hello all, and thank you for your time and advice.....I have a beautiful 1971 LT1 Coupe.....numbers matching, fully documented car. It is an older restoration and shows great. there are a few thing NOT original to the car.....and I need advice. do I keep the car the way it is....or put it to all original. It is classic white, Black leather interior......Vintage A/C was added to the car a few years ago...the original Holley carb was replaced with a new one, (no one know where the original went), a larger aluminum radiator was installed to keep the car cooler....etc.....that kind of stuff. Again the car shows and runs perfect.....show quality. Do I put it all back to original, or do I just enjoy it the way it is????? And if I do put it back to original, where in Southern California would I take it for the work?????
I appreciate the advice.....thank you for your time guys! Dave

Depends on how much $$$ you want to spend, and if you still have all of the original components. The A/C swap would be a major hurdle in getting it back original. It also depends on what your plans for the car are. Do you plan on driving it, showing, or having it Judged? If your plans include it being Judged NCRS/Bloominton, you would need to go back all original as much as possible. If you just want a sweet driver that you could show, then leave as is, and just enjoy the heck out of it.

Drive it the way it is. 71's didn't come with a/c, so that is a bonus. Unless you want it to be an NCRS car, I'd let the next owner worry about that.
thanks so far......i tend to agree with you all, the last guy spent a fortune on that ac system and radiator set up......10-4, roger that~! thx guys!!!!!!
