Vette(s): 1971 350 270 hp roadster millivanilli red, black interior, white rag top, white hard top, I've had it 18 years and intend on giving it to my son for his 25th birthday(another 18 years from now)
Hi Gang,
I fired up the new stereo in my 71 tonight, just as my wife was coming home from her business trip in Baltimore too!. It still dosen't have the subs in yet (they haven't come in the mail ),but all I can say, the animals here are not going to be the same after hearing Steppinwolf's Born to be Wild after I got it all EQ'd up, and cranked it.I definnatly impressed myself and pissed off my wife(she said I was out of control), but thats how things go sometimes.Wink If anyone wants to upgrade their tunes let me know, I have learned all the trails and tribulations on this install and it really didn't put too bad a dent in my pocket(I shopped around alot) and I did my own custom work. You would never know there was a system in the car except for the new style single din Kenwood head in the consol. Tomorrow I'm going to start the parts invintory on the sidepipes and get them ready for the install(my buddy says I can use his shop one night this week, so I want it to be a one shot deal) and I'll be ready for the rest of the nice days left and finish the little details over the winter. So now when the wife says it's a nice night for a ride for a convert I don't have to drive a Mustang LOL  Later gang......  Bill
