The project is almost done. I have to put in new body mounts and then it's ready for body work and paint. Here's a couple links for comparison pics.

Nice comparisson pictures. Did you dyno the new set up, and if so, how much are you pushing? ( fly wheel or rear wheels )
Get some nice thick knee high socks to wear till you get used to the pipes

Hi Glenn, I don't have access to a real dyno here, but I did run the numbers on "Desktop Dyno 2000", and it came out to 673 HP and 865 lb ft torque. Iam seriously considering adding Nitrous and with that the dyno program says 1100 HP and 1500 lb ft torque. I think I might need wheelie bars! LOL.

What are you planing on doing to the rear end for strength?
Sarge gave me a web site for half shafts and solid U-Joints that I think I will spring for as soon as I get my engine back.

It already had oversize halfshafts when I got it. I added Monroe 70/30 drag shocks, and heavy duty 7 leaf spring. The u-joints were new also and I beleive they are solid. The only thing I am really concerned with is the main driveline. I think it is stock and don't know how it will take the torque. Any idea where to get a tougher driveline?

Nuttin looks better than a pair of carbs stickout out of the hood!!
You can have a drive shaft built at any good driveline shop, heavier wall tubing, bigger yokes, greaseless u-joints, etc. But, in any powertrain, you need a weak link. Too much shaft, then you need to watch the 1/2 shafts. HD half shafts, then you worry 'bout the rear end.
Good luck....

Try this place out. I think it will be where I get my half shafts and u joints.
