I Went for a short drive yesterday just to get the vette out. As I was cruising a backroad in a neighboring town I went around a blind curve to find a traffic checkpoint. As the officer handed my license back to me he smiled and said "I would tell you to have a nice day but anybody driving a corvette is ALREADY having a nice day". As I drove away I couldnt help but smile and think that he was right.
ANYBODY DRIVING A CORVETTE IS ALREADY HAVING A NICE DAY !!!

Here's a funny for you. We could not move the kids from bed early Sunday morning so I said well "it's a beautiful day we can take the vette to church". I have never taken the vette to church, as we left mass a family that sit's by us in church for years comes to the car and asks what year is the car?

Then they tell me the husban has an 81 same color but with black interior! I said for how long and wife says about 27 years!
Well I'll be bringing him in a info packet next Sunday.....yep this big old world is pretty small sometimes and full of surprises around every corner........even if it is a roadblock!
Your right Chip "already having a nice day"...........thanks for the story!

Great story, love it! I loaned my 75 to a cop buddy, to take his "new girl" out for the evening. That was five years ago. They are still together and still talk about that night.
