Sharon, when I ordered my car bag they said it could be three weeks and it would be dropped shipped from the manufacture. I found it on my door step in three days!
My garage is also unattached, and being out in the country I get familys of field mice, the ones with the cute ears.
Well here is how I handle that, ....my kids do not want me to kill them so....
I have a 5 gallon bucket (sheet rock mud bucket) where the top handle attaches I run a piece on solid wire (tie wire) from one side to the other so it's like walking a tight rope.
I take a soda can (in rooks case it would be a beer can, in larrys case it would be a laxitive can) anyhow.....
I make a small hole on the bottom of the can right in the middle, and another hole on the top right next to the drink opening. Before I attach the tight rope wire I run it through the soda can. Once attached to bucket you will be able to spin the soda can freely.
You following all this?
Heres where it gets fun, now I take peanut butter and run a line of it down the lenght of the can, I rotate the can 1/3rd and apply another line, rotate 1/3rd and apply another line. Center the can in middle of the opening.
Now set this fairly close to your vette place a stick or yardstick from the floor leaning right onto the bucket.
The mice walk up the stick, they walk the tight rope, they climb onto the can, it spins and they fall into the bucket. If you want them dead you put water in the bottom and they drown. In my case I take the bucket for a ride and release them in front of the guys house that has a 1969 Mach1 in his garage.
I'll take a picture of this set up. but I'll tell you it really works, I'll come home and hear the mice trying to jump out. One time I took a red magic marker and ran a stripe down its back and set it free. I said if you come back I'll kill you! Can you imagine what the gang said once he showed up with a racing stripe......"You big dummy you!"
You can also sell them to pet shops and use the money for vette parts.....Wink

Ebo............that's weird............I've been doing the same thing for years..........except I do in on a much larger scale. Crazy women come wandering around to check out my vette. Sooo, I do that same thing to trap them. The real nice ones I release and take them home. The others I just release back to the wild. I never, ever do such a dastardly deed as the ebo.........by painting a scarlet letter on them. And then having to face their friends with the scarlet letter (identifying them as ebo women). And further more I've NEVER sold ANY of them to pet shops..........MAN!
