Go back up and look at that chrome motor from corvette 440 that was out of his family Vega station wagon....

I also walk past mine every morning and feel her up, those buldging front fenders, that fine rear curve.....yeah baby your a vette owner, you already are beaming with pride.
You have found the right place to express your love and troubles with your vette, this is one big ole family. Also remember the saying... "You can pick your friends, but not your family"
Well here you don't have to woory about that we are your friends right now but soon we will turn into your extended family....
Now go drive her like you stole her!

Sharon,
Yes you are a vette owner! As many have said in this post, not many people can claim themselves as a vette owner. Heres the coolest part, when you drive down the street and people stare at your vette, I assure you that no one is questioning the parts that make up that vette. They are all just wishing they had one. now as far as the motor being a 69 camaro engine, that sounds like a much better choice then my 74 has in it. I pulled my original motor that only had 26K on it and no problems in exchange for a 1972 chevy breadtruck motor. Yea, maybe we did rebuild it and give it some extra goodies and then dress it up really pretty but its still a breadtruck engine from a junk yard. And I never have had anyone question the motor since Ive done it. They just stare and slobber wishing they had one! Enjoy your VETTE! You are truly a Vette owner.
Oh, Welcome to the C3VR family. Your gonna like it here!

Ebo you are right, im hooked. Like i said when i saw her and heard her (pipes come out just in front the rear tires) i said " i wantthis one" and corvette 440 the secret is safe with me, lol. Rodney, your story summed it all up...really a breadtruck motor in a classic? Lol. Its all good, everyone' s feedback has been encouraging and look forward to ya' ll becoming my Vette family.

Sharon, nice looking Vette. I like the white stripe does it continue across the rear deck?

Ohio is a good location as you should be able to reach the Mid and the East gatherings if you wish. Not sure how far you are from the "Rook" but stay a safe distance from him.....bad news, almost as bad as Corvette440.and he's in Ohio also.

Again, welcome and enjoy that sweet ride!

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
That looks like a calendar picture if you have a Hi res version. You have until 15 Oct to submit it. If it is not a high res version take it back to that spot or an other one a nice and shoot one.
