Nice to see that Cee Dee.  The rest of the world is busy putting us down, except when they have a problem.

We take for granted too much of what we have.  We need to be reminded every so often how lucky we are..and lucky to have good friends...Wink

Well sort of... we celebrate a National day here on Feb 6th (this Tues) called "Waitangi Day" which is supposed to be to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1845 or thereabouts, between the local indiginous population (Maori's) and the Queen (Britain). NZ was a British Colony. Unfortunately in recent years Maori radicals have used the day to create political and physical mayhem, so many New Zealander's now refer to it as "New Zealand Day" instead. Either way it is a National Public Holiday here.

Sounds like a real great event, Chris.  Is your car entered in the car show?  There must be quite a few American cars in NZ if they cut off the show entries at 500.  It would be kewl to see all the cars and events.

You betcha it's entered ! My son and I are doing the 4 days together (I have a sneaking suspicion he has ambitions of driving some of it... ) and enjoying it to the max. This is a brand new event never been done before, and it has just taken off like you wouldn't believe ! Yep, the 500 limit has been reached (I can't even imagine what it's going to be like to have 500 American cars & bikes in one place) but you can be sure my camera will be there also, and if someone can tell me where/how to send pix to it would be great to see some posted on C3VR. Did you see they're giving a C3 away to one of those registered... ho boy ! CeeDee2007-02-06 00:58:12
