Nice to see that Cee Dee. The rest of the world is busy putting us down, except when they have a problem.
We take for granted too much of what we have. We need to be reminded every so often how lucky we are..and lucky to have good friends...

... did you see what they are giving away ???
P.S Thankz to whoever turned my first post into a link... I must work out how to do that myself one day!

Looks like a fun event.
And celebrating the 4th of July in Feb. sounds cool.
Does New Zealand have the equivalent of Independence Day?

That looks like a fun event, I just wanna come to New Zealand. I don't need any special event just a vacation there would be great

Well sort of... we celebrate a National day here on Feb 6th (this Tues) called "Waitangi Day" which is supposed to be to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1845 or thereabouts, between the local indiginous population (Maori's) and the Queen (Britain). NZ was a British Colony. Unfortunately in recent years Maori radicals have used the day to create political and physical mayhem, so many New Zealander's now refer to it as "New Zealand Day" instead. Either way it is a National Public Holiday here.

That's great Chris, make sure you get that nice pice of American Muscle you own down there for all to look at. I agree with Greg it's nice to see somebody not bashing the good ol' US of A for a chnge!
Sounds like a real great event, Chris. Is your car entered in the car show? There must be quite a few American cars in NZ if they cut off the show entries at 500. It would be kewl to see all the cars and events.
