just thought I would intro myself.
I have an 80 silver with black interior L48 with an auto. This vette I bought off of the internet and it does need work or saving as I like to think of it. it has 75K showing on the odo looks more like 100K driven hard and put up wet.
I'll be puting in a crate engine sometime this summer I hope. Right now I'm trying to figure out the electrical problems.

Tom,
Welcome to C3VR AND welcome to the wonderful world of C3 Corvette ownership. There are certain givens in our hobby:
1) You will always have electrical problems!!
2) You will always have vacuum problems (relates more to the early C3 models)
3) Even if you have a NCRS Top Flight Vette, there will always be a "project for next weekend"!!
And last but certainly not least:
4) You will spend a lot of money, so don't keep records of your expenses. Trust me, you'll thank me in the long run!!!
But even with all of the above, we still love our C3 Corvettes!!!
Again, Welcome! Enjoy the website!!!
