Has anyone stored their car or boat in this type of shelter. I am getting into a real bind with having to move my car very soon. Storage unit places are nice but they don't allow you to work on your car. Average rental rate around here is 110.00 to 180.00 per month. 10x20 unit.

I am looking into this type of shelter. 14wx10hx24d to put the car and go kart into. $749 + shipping. It comes with 2 doors and anchors. I would add a floor tarp to it also.  It seems pretty sturdy and would make a heck of a camp tent too.LOL     Any thoughts?? I need to finish working on the car and this may be one way to do it.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

I know a couple of folks who have them.  One is on his 2nd one as the 1st was blown apart during a thunderstorm.  The key is getting them anchored down REALLY well if your area experiences high winds occasionally.  And if you get any heavy, wet winter snows don't let it accumulate too much on top or pile up too much along the sides or ends.  Remember, they are nothing more than really big camping tents.

That seems really expensive to me! There is a place I always dirve by that sells the metal ones for about the same price. Same shape they just have the sheet metal panels instead of a tarp cover.

I would recommend the same thing as "79rebuild" and get a metal one.  I got a 12X20 at Home Depot for about the same priceGeek
