Vette(s): Re-acquired 1982 Bright Blue Vette from the guy a sold it to 13 years ago. 1993 40th Anniv. Ruby Convertible- purchased for my wifes 40th birthday-It has Chromed Grand Sport Wheels, Grand Sport Flares and a functional rollbar.

The trip home went fairly well. Experienced the "heat soak" no start problem a couple of times but we coped. Stopped off in Bowling Green and met LakotasRose and her husband. Very nice folks. Visited Graceland, sort of. The 11 year old didn't really care about stopping and after I found out how much it would cost and how long it would take to see everything, we decided to skip the tours and just buy a few post cards. The trip was about 1500 miles and we did it in two days. Got home around midnight on the Sunday before labor day. The car had 29,249 miles when I picked it up and now we have 30,896. It came with the original Rally wheels, caps and rings. Those are stored now and I put Cragar S/S wheels on. They look pretty good but I wanted and expected a slightly wider stance. Can you put 255/60's on a 15X7 wheel? or should I have got 15X8's? Too late now without taking a hickee. The pics aren't developed yet. Will post as soon as I can. We participated in the local 9/11 American Freedom Corvette Caravan honoring the Veterans and Firefighters of our community. What a blast. 137 Corvettes parading through town with police escort.

My new 79 is actually in two of the pics but it is so far away you can't tell it unless you know where it is. the wife's Ruby Vert was in the parade but no pics of it on the website.
