The Baldwin-Motion cars will be worth more than the "normal" Motion car, in most cases, as they were cars specifically bought from Baldwin Chevrolet. They were then sent to Rosen at Motion, down the street, for the Motion treatment. You could also send your used/new car to Rosen for the same treatment, regardless of where it was originally purchased.
Motion cars are rare....period. Rosen didn't just do Corvettes, either. They did Camaros, Chevelles, even Vegas. The Baldwin-Motion cars are in the same class as the Yenko, or Nickey Chevrolet cars...special ordered vehicles with pretty much one objective...to trash the Stock/Super Stock/Modified class records, which they did quite regularly.
Vintage racers with a pedigree is what they are...

These were NOT factory issued cars, as the Shelbys were. Shelby worked with Ford to bring those Musturds out...Chevrolet had NOTHING to do with Motion, Nickey, or Yenko cars, other than being the supplier to the dealer.

Talk about coincidence!! Here's what looks to be the real deal on Ebay with a $200K reserve:

You could also buy all of the Motion body parts, and install them yourself, which accounts for the large number of "fake" Motion cars you see for sale here and there. Joel(Rosen) is the ONLY one that can verify a real Motion car. Problem is, he's turned into a grumpy old fart....

Wow, Paul...what timing, eh? I'm lookin at it now...

Dam...it's a SHAME, no...a CRIME that someone painted that car!

It appears to be a REAL Baldwin-Motion car. I see too many Motion specific parts for it to be a fake. The Sig Erson rev kit(for the cam/roller lifters)...Rosen used Erson stuff.
The Hone O/D unit was a Rosen item...btw, it WILL stand up to the engine...there's some other inane reason for it being apart.
Not many people had the guts, or the time/energy to install one of those monsters, plus, it was a $600 option, if my memory is correct. It took a huge hole in the center tunnel to install.

The external oil cooler, which appears to still be on the car(behind the pass side front grill, and the oil cooler fittings on the block...Motion stuff.
I do have to question the "Special Hydraulic Cam"...it's a full roller cam shown in the pics...don't think there was a hydraulic roller available back in them days, but I could be wrong.
Lot of work to be done on that one, fer sher...worth $200,000 as is? If it hadn't been painted like that, I'd say YES. With the goofy paint, I'd have to knock $50,000 off of the price...
