I was foolin 'round on ebay, and ran across this one. don't know if it's the real deal, but the guy supposedly has all the documentation for it.(like that can't be faked!) I know it's really hard, or actually next to impossible to get Rosen to authenticate any of his cars, so I just wonder if this is real or not. If it is, it seems like the dude would be axin way more for it.

Baldwin / Motion Manta Ray

It is a sweet lookin ride, tho. Wish I had the cash & place to put it! Adams' Apple38549.8357060185

Actually, if anybody likes it, i belong to another web site decated to them. I plan on building one some day. Complete body kit is still available for about $6,000.   http://www.makoshark2.com/

Dont know if it matters, just my 2 cents worth on the body. d.

Read all the text there on the e-bay auction... Johnny explains it pretty clearly why he's asking the amount that he is.  Very nice car, of course I like mine better (I like the louvres and ducktail better), but if you're into "pedigree" then you won't find another like this one, along with its very colorful history.  Johnny has spent an incredible amount of time personally doing the legwork, tracking down the history of the car, as well as some really interesting information on the whole Rosen/Silva relationship.

Here are some more pictures of the car:

Pretty nice looking ride. I have always liked certain aspects of the Baldwin Motion vettes. Especially the power train setups. Those cars would have been a blast to get out and play in during thier day.

If this is Arruza as in the Mopar/Hemi guy, his rep is real strong.  A good friend of mine who's in the collector car biz was/is real hot on this car.

Yes, that's the guy.  He's a very intelligent, eclectic guy...  interesting to talk to, and apparently very well known in the Mopar world.
