My wife and I spent 3 hours today over at the Barrett-Jackson site, they had a family day. The bidding war does not start until next week.
Watch for Lot #70, a 1971 LS-5 coupe. Very Nice car, the nicest C3 we saw parked there today. Here is the link: http://www.barrett-jackson.com/events/scottsdale/vehicles/ca rdetail_list.asp?id=182791
The paint job is awesome. The Car comes from Las Vegas, the folks had it quite a while but decided it was time to go.
Not all of the cars were there yet, today was a Public Family day, I am sure more will come this week.
It will be interesting to see how much it brings.

We would of done a bid for another vechile but B-J start's their bid a $30K's. And...
On-site Buyer’s Commission: 8%
Absentee Buyer’s Commission: 10%
On-site Automobilia Buyer’s Commission: 15%
Absentee Automobilia Buyer’s Commission: 17
So that it's out. And the vechile we wanted to bid was not worth even the starting bid!!
It was sold for $44K's.
Be careful if you do bid on one. I have seen, don't get me wrong, beautiful vehicle inside and out, runs really good but the new owner bought it and found it was a flood vehicle. Yes, at B-J. What in the hell!!!
That new owner was Pi**ed!! Oh well.... You sign, you buy...
