Last show of the season tonight for the very popular Beaches Restaurant Summer Cruise-In at Portland International Raceway.  Sad that it's over but glad that I got to go with a couple of Shark friends (the one with an '82 is a member).

At our meetup place:

At the show (there were the most cars there tonight I've ever seen, must have been the beautiful weather):

The color of the '68 is "Corvette Bronze" - she had it painted a year or so (original color) and it is a beaut!

Looks like a good time! It would have been a little far for me, anyway!

Nice pictures thanks for sharing!
This is the time of year you can see the post's slow down as the depression of putting the cars away sets in...... For some of us....just sayin.

I know how you feel. Our last cruise-in in Middlebury IN is tonight. Last year we had 520 cars. I hope we can top it this year. Was a very good car seasion and sorry to see it end.

Great pics Dave.   Good looking bunch of Vettes!  I have always liked the '68 Vette in that color.  I too hate to see the cruising season end.   It seems like we just got the Vettes out of winter hibernation and now it's almost time to put them back to sleep.   Just makes us look forward to next cruising season I guess:)

Yep, it is a bit sad this time of year.  We're still enjoying our Indian summer here in the Portland/Vancouver area, but it's bound to end soon.  All the more sad for me because I didn't get it running until August.  Next year I should have a longer driving season.  Right now I'm trying to decide if I want to keep it fully insured for the winter or drop it down to just comp.  My agent said if I do want to drive it I could just send him an email the day before....

Have you thought about classic car insurance? Inexpensive and you can keep it insured all year long.

Still plenty of driving time to go (I hope)!
