I have looked at several of the Corvette magazines now available on the news stands. None of them seem to address much for the C3's. I'm not much into the computer laden, low riding C4's; the pricey C5's; or worrying about what the C6 will look like, but I guess a partial diet of that stuff is mandatory for a corvette magazine. Over time, say the course of a year, what magazine seems to have the most C3 information?

EXCELLENT QUESTION!!!! I have been looking as well, but havent found any that I can really get interested in for reasons similar to yours. I hope that someone who has been reading Corvette Magazines for more years will give us some insite. Maybe Glenn will put in his 2 cents worth too.

Try "Shark Bytes"!
C3VR's Quarterly Publication that is sent to Gold and Lifetime Members.
Actually, if I knew anything about publishing a magazine, not to mention, had the staff to write a magazine's worth of articles... I would love to create a C3 Magazine!

This is a good point and one I have to respond to. You are very correct about the lack of articles on C3s, ESPECIALLY ones that are driven on the street, not just on and off trailers.
One of my biggest complaints is the fact there is so little available for the C3s in the way of add on or nice to have items. Anywhere you look, there are glasses, cups, tee shirts, hats, a real plethora of add on speed equipment "specific to" every other body style. The C3 was produced longer than any other body style and in comparison, there is little available in any of the order books like mid-America or Ecklers. Look in any of those order books and find a C3 clock or more than one C3 poster or tee shirt. This is strictly a guess, but I bet there are still more C3s on the road than C5s and I think the "aftermarket" supplyers should recognize that fact.
Anyhow, I have taken up enough server space with this.

You folks are onto something here! Think of all the trick things that one can do with these cars, from a 5-bar Guldstrand suspension, custom aftermarket gauges, motor swaps, you name it! Granted, there would still have to be some stuff that would appeal to the purists, but I would venture to guess that you could at least do a quarterly or bi-monthly magazine highlighting various products. If we need a project car, I know where we can find a 1978 Silver Anniversary just dying to be tricked out!

I completely agree with Glenn in that there is very little C3 paraphenalia to be had. It seems to me that it is still an under-appreciated era that has yet to have its day. It's always been my feeling that the C3's that you see selling from $8k to $25k are the next generation of $15k to $60k cars. Just try to buy a C2 for under $20k once!!!
The generations that grew up with and appreciate the C3 design have just begun to build enough wealth to drive the demand up!
Hang on to that C3!
