Vette(s): 1980 Corvette L-48 automatic all original with 129,000 Kilometres(77000. Miles) Dark claret exterior, Dark claret interior

I'am looking to do some minor mods to my Vette but nothing to expensive just something to keep it interesting and maybe just to be  a little different.  Does anyone have any ideas that would make this Vette just a little different.

Are you talking about visual modifications or performance mods?

If you want to do some visual modifications you have lots of options...all depends on how much you are willing to spend, but good looks and tastefullness are not at all dependent on money...there are lots of cars out there people have dumped tons of money into that are grotesque at best or poorly done or thought out.

Wheels are among the most visual statements you can make. There are lots of styles to choose from. Also, a very cost effective modification are tasteful pin stripes or other graphics that can be added. Many shops specialize in that and have catalogs of graphics for ideas.

There are interior changes you can make as well. The dash and console bezels can be fitted with ready made inlays in a variety of finishes from burl walnut to carbon-fiber to brushed aluminum. It's do-it-yourself stuff and not overly expensive for the change in appearance.

If it's performance mods...the sky is limited only by your wallet. Of course...you can always hang some fuzzy dice from the rear view mirror!

Since Spring is about here, go to some cruise-ins and look over the cars for ideas and ask questions about who does good work, etc.

Best of luck.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

The very simple and unique can be custom pin striping, or other stripes and or graphics.  I would not get too carried away, but some thing can be very nice.  Perhaps custom tint on the windows?  There are a lot of visual things you can do without a lot of cash.

Custom back window tint, and boyds wheels and a shaved antenna mast are the visual modifications on mine, course a new paint job helps too. performance mods can be simple or extreme, its just how much money? What you want your car to be?Tumarr38439.5098263889

Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Just bought it from my uncle who owned it since 1971. Fathom green, green interior. 350/300, T400.

I think rims make the biggest impact, the rims on Tumarr's ide (above) really set the car off. I'm thinking about torque thrust II's myself.

Vette(s): 1979 Coupe, white in color

There is also spoilers and ground effects kits that change the looks a lot. I'm not a big fan of some spoilers, but have the Indy front spoiler on mine. Didn't like the rear Indy spoiler, so took it off. There are different tail light kits also.
