Saw Bill Mitchell's original Sting Ray Racer at Portland Art Museum's auto exhibit last night.  Pretty cool to see it in person after having read the story many times.  Apparently all 16 cars (including a Deusy) were driven in to the museum.  The Sting Ray has a special driver from GM.  Pretty cool exhibit -- check it out if you're in the area.

Yep it was a cool exhibit.  The Sting Ray made it a memorable event for me, but if I wasn't a Vette fan I'd have said hands down the Duesenberg takes the cake.  What crazily exquisite workmanship!

I believe Duesenbergs were the source of the expression "doozy" or "duesy" - and they are a doozy!! Couldn't agree more Dave!
