OK guy, i want hesitate to ask. i'm looking at a saposally a 1978 Silver Ann. silver upper black or dark gray lower. vin 1z87l8s429826...The title say's SIL/ANNY THE vin say l48 motor but. the nose emblem nor the gas emblem are round with 25 anny. also the finder emblem say fuel injection. can anyony tell me where the body tag may be, its not in the door? I have searched the net for three days and looked at many pics, Ihave not seen any S/A with f/emblems saying fuel inj. also the nose emblem on the car now is just the flags. I can get the car for 4k maybe 3 but i dont want to dump a bunch #$$$$$ into it that I'll never get out. i dont entend on selling it but u never know.

ALL '78s came with the 25th anny emblems. Sounds like someone has done some swapping on this one.
The trim tag should be just ahead of the driver door front jamb, riveted to the dash on the side. The trim tag MAY be painted, so it might not stand out as much as a non-painted tag. Silver upper/dark grey lower is the correct Silver Anny paint combo.
Look in the "Research" area for the Build date/trim tag info, and a couple of pics of the tag(s).
