Does anyone know of any book that list part numbers such as crankshaft pulley numbers or fan belt pulley numbers etc. I am rebuilding a 68 convertible and I'm trying to keep the numbers correct on everything as much as possible. Also is there a book that will instruct me to replace the nose, the previous owner installed a 76 half nose again I want to restore it to original condition.Any help in these matters would be greatly appreciated. Thanks JJoyal

I would suggest getting a GM parts book that includes Corvette. I would think that should list all the part numbers for pulleys, belts & hoses, etc.

I dont think a parts book is going to list casting numbers though
a 68 and 69 might have the smae part numberin such a book but different casting numbers.

i dont know for sure.. my beastie is still across town..
but I would bet there isnt as much a casting number as a date stamp in the pulleys..
kind of like 15x8 rally wheels
they should all be the same part number... but the date codes are different.

Corvette By The Numbers by Alan J. Colvin. Terriffic resource. $50 - a bargain at twice the price for your endeavor.

Good luck on your resto. Be glad to help any way I can.
