Pretty cool 82dukman! My car was born August 14, 1981, in Bowling Green. I would have to think that my car was one of the last few for the 1981 production run. Unless they made them in Sept/Oct. Does anyone know when they ceased the production of the '81 model year? Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the info 82dukman! I guess that didn't leave them much time to set up from the '81 run to the then up coming '82 production run. My last six digits are XXXXX103975. That seems to be a few thousand before the end. Do you know when the '82 line started production?

Is there anywhere else I can find the born date for my '76?
I tried the link a couple of times, & I can't get the thing to work.

VIN XXXXX5100001 rolled off the assembly line on Oct 26, 1981. This is the first 1982 model to roll off the line
