Check the trim tag, in front of the driver door, riveted to the cowl. It will have all of the info. Once you get the numbers/letters, post them here, and we'll help ya de-code it! Also, check out THIS THREAD on the same subject.

The trim tag will have three characters next to the word Chevrolet - a letter and two numbers (like B28). The letter represents the month of production and the numbers represent the day of that month. "A" is the first month, "B" is the second month, and so on. Most years began production in August so B28 would represent September 28.
If you are inquiring about your '69, that model year began production in August of 1968 and ended in December of 1969 (A-Q).
