Vette(s): 1969 427/390 Sport Coupe *Stored since 1984*
In good shape actually, as you can see. I left it on the car but put some plastic over it duct taped in place. Tank is not rusty inside or outside. PO drained it completely when the car was put away in 1984 so shiny inside and no varnish.

That's really cool Steve. I see it was a Canadian delivered car too. You can get the Vintage Vehicle Services paperwork from GM Oshawa here: http://www.gm.ca/gm/english/shopping/parts/vintage

Clap  Thumbs Up
According to the zone, and dealer codes, the car was originally sold/delivered to:
Harold Cummings, LTD.
5255 Jean Talon St. West
Montreal H4P1X

At least that's the dealer that had that Zone, and Dealer # in 1982....
Kewl find!!Thumbs Up

Very nice find and in great shape. Really interesting to see a coolant RPO! That I haven't seen before.

Extra ant-freeze protection...seriously. Canadian delivered cars had a sticker on the fan shroud regarding anti-freeze requirements; the one on my car was there but had faded too muc to read anymore. I've seen some with a sticker below the emissions label listing oil change intervals depending on outside temperature as well. I guess GM figured we be driving our Vettes in the dead of winter.

Hey Dan

You may seen them but I posted on the original buildsheet book discussion, a Chapter 3 excerpt and the introduction.  I can craft other excepts if there is a topic you are particularly interested in. FYI...there are about 100 copies floating around as of yesterday.

here's link to the original discussion
