I would kinda think that no matter what "company" was hired or supposedly hired, if the records are lost and GM can't produce them, how is a third party going to produce them?

There was a thread over on the NCRS board earlier this year about the "missing GM records." One of the NCRS old timers (X-GM official) said that an extensive search was done for them at GM, but they were never found. I can't remember any more details, but the thread is probably in the archives somewhere. If your car was imported into Canada new, then GM-Canada has saved the import records and you can obtain the factory information from GM-Canada. ~Juliet
