Man, Steve, from the title I thought YOURS had a fire! Thats a real shame to what looked like a nice car. This is why I would never participate in a burnout contest! Sick

I guess I'm showing my age here but I fail to see the purpose of burning up a set of tires or blowing an engine for the sake of entertaining others who ARE NOT going to pay the repair costs.  I dont know if the engine was still running on this car  or if it had been converted to an electric fuel pump but it appears this is a fuel fed fire, the reason it took so much to get it out.

Apparently the fire crew were all out sick the day they taught fire fighting at the academy. High pressure water on a petroleum fire? What????

BTW, I totally agree with Crossfire on the burnouts. What does it prove?

What a waste of a cool Shark. Your right Scott. Instead of wasting they're time with water, they should have just brought their weenie sticks.ConfusedWacko

I like the guy in the orange shorts who was runnin round like a chicken wit his head cut off. Not to mention hiding behind the guy with the hose.

No Crowd Control...
No Fire Fighting tactics...
Coulda been real bad...
Or at least much worse than it was...
