The Vette is being transported by a 2-car enclosed trailer, it is a specialty company called Enclosed Vehicle Transport, so no dangers of being underneath other cars dripping lord knows what on my baby. . .

Okay guys, some questions now that the car is here.

The passenger (power) window goes up very slowly and the lights dim a little when I hit the switch. Could the switch be bad or is the motor going on the lift mechanisim?

Also, the car idles very high when first started, but I didn't leave it warm up since it went right from the transport vehicle into the storage facility (ironically an old Chevrolet garage that my new boss' dad owned) since it was late and I need to get it licensed and insured.

Thanks All!

CONGRATS on the "new to you" TOY...!!!

A fast idle is normal on start-up until things warm up a bit.  But even so after a minute or so you should have been able to kick it down some.

Don't have experience with the power windows so someone else will have to chime in on that one.

If the motor is going and pulling more power then it is suppose to then the lights will dim a little. Check all the conections and ground wires to make sure they are clean before you start taking things apart. If the battery is weak/needs a charge you might see the same thing.
Congrates and good luck.
