If you really like it, check it over top to bottom. The vacuum leak should not be a big deal. Could be a headlight actuator or valve. That might account for the poor idle as well.
See if he will take $7500. That will let you fix the vacuum and idle.
There are a lot of '82s on the road. I like mine.

To me that is a nice clean CE for $7000!

Idle shoudnt be THAT hard to fix.

But if that connection isnt there that is your answer.

Me, I always say a little prayer before turning on or closing the headlights and that has worked well so far.
Some will tell you it isnt how fast they open, its if they open at all.Wink

(I doubt one can find a ce THAT  clean for under $8,000 that doesnt need SOMETHING).
