If you properly prep the car there is no need to remove the doors or front bumper and you get a better and safer job. Installing the front bumper after its painted is bad enough without having to worry about paint cracking when its tightened. I have restored dozens of this vintage CC3 Corvettes and they come out great this way !!! Look at the bumper fit No Paint build up !!! looks like it was installed after paint. Jim
