You think maybe we can change "The Wave" from a single-handed to more like this:
Or would that be too un-safe having no hands on the wheel?!?

I guess I can not yell toooo loudly at the Vette owners who don't wave. I kinda
zone out myself. I installed an am/fm cassette, 5 stack CD which I hardly ever
turn on because I am "in the zone" listening to my big block exhaling through the
side pipes. Mose times, my wife has to hit me upside the head and say " dumby,
you just missed waving to another one ". Ah well, at least she is paying attention
to the road. Soooo, if they don't wave, it may not be because they are feeling
tooo good about themselves, they could just be REALLY enjoying their ride

I have a friend that has ''my other car is a Corvette'' on a plate frame(is that the right word?)...at first she had one on each of her 2 Corvettes but when she sold her '94 she put it on her new Oldsmobile instead.

quote: Adam...... I'm actually looking into getting a C3VR static cling window sticker to send to C3VR members.
If I got them, would you guys/gals use them?:unquote
I think that is a great Idea! could put one in each of the ''kids''!

I can't remember not getting a wave from a C3 or older, I have missed occasionally while going into a 90 degree corner while downshifting to 1st, just didn't have any hands left available to

Ok I'm really going to age myself, but years ago between 57 Chevy's I had a 53 Pontiac 2 dr sedan, stright 8! At that time a shoe store chain was selling GTO shoes. When you got a pair there was a set of stickers matching all the GTO emblems. A friend worked in the store and got me a set and ofcourse I put them on the car. Gota a lota laughts at the drive in! So I guess I had the only 53 GTO. Some how I don't think it would work as well putting a set of Vette emblems on the Ford Exployer ( my wife's) so we will, I guess we will all have to try to remember not to wave when not in our Vette's.

I also find myself waving to other Vettes when I'm in my truck. They give me a look of confusion, but oh well. I also notice that I pass a lot of people in C5s that don't want to wave back. Maybe they'll learn what to do soon enough.

I don't have a vette (yet) and I always give teo thumbs up ANY vette I see or tell the driver "nice ride" when I see them. I think the c5 drivers think their better than anyone else including C3's. I on the other hand like the C3's. back to the wave, I don't understand how anyone can miss one, the sight makes me almost cry there so beautiful. But i'm from NY so I don't see many.
bye (heres my wave)
'cause i don't have one yet.

bye (heres my wave)

You don't have one yet, why??????? That's cool that you like them that much, and that you wave too. I hardly ever get a wave from C4 & C5 drivers. I don't know why either. maybe your thoughts on them thinking they are better has some merit.

Danielle,
I just looked at your profile and see that under "Vettes Owned" you have "I'm going to buy a candy- apple red vette in 7 years"
Why 7 years?
