As some of you know I have decided to sell my 74 vette. Well the selling part isnt easy as I am finding money is very tight with many lookers. I put it in the for sale field at Carlisle and didnt even get a phone call on it. When I got home from Carlisle I left it sit until the next weekend, then I sat it out for sale. Had 3 people contact me that Sunday and one person came Monday and put a deposit of $500 on it with a setttlment for the next Thursday. I took the check to the bank the following day and it didnt clear. Called him up and he said he transfered the money late in the day and to try it again Thursday. Guess what, it didnt clear again. Now luckily his account is at the same bank I use so I could get it checked without depositing it so it doesnt bounce! So Friday I checked it one more time. Didnt clear. Ive heard so many reasons for it not to clear so I told him it would be back out for sale this weekend. I think this is going to be a long process! Luckily I dont have to sell but Im running out of space.
Hope I can keep patient!

Sure he will, Albo...ONE easy payment...this month only.....
Kinda reminds me of a deal I had like that years ago. Had a Turdbird I was selling for Mama. Set it out in front of the shop with a For Sale sign. Several folks stopped and asked aboot it, drove it, etc. One feller put down $500 on a Monday for me to hold it until that Friday. A few more folks stopped and checked on it, but I had to tell them it was sold. That Friday comes, and the turd never shows up, never called...nada. So aboot a week later, some other folks came in and had cash, so they bought it. Then, aboot three weeks later, the original guy shows up wanting the car. Too bad, so sad...the car is gone. He starts raising he!!, and I had to remind him that the "contrct" we both signed said I would hold it until that specific date....which he missed, and I had even held it longer, just to give him a little more time. He left mad, and $500 in the hole, but I dint care...a deal's a deal.

The difference Joel is I got a check that's no good! So I ain't Holden it for him unless he's the first person with cash! Just glad I didn't deposit it and get hit with a bank fee. Ebo as Joel says I will take payments, all in the same month! Like your trustworthy!! Lol.
Well its off to wait for the next buyer!
