Every metal part of this car has surface rust, even the tilt wheel lever.

Apparently, this old man's patio was under 10-15' of water!!
This is a perfect example of a "water-baby". I don't think there's any way that car got that bad just from sitting. The air cleaner rust, and rust on ALL of the painted surfaces tells me this is not simply from sitting out. I've seen real "barn" cars from the 50's that weren't this bad. $10,000 for the two cars is probably too much.
Run away! Run away! Run away!

I could see the car rusting like that from "salt air" if it was in a coastal area of Texas. By the time you had everything restored you would have a ton of money in the car though.

Yeah, I guess it's possible. We have had quite a few cars from the New Orleans area in our shop lately; evacuees from Katrina. Most of them have a lot of rust(mostly sheet-metal), but... they have also been driven most every day, too. Who knows? I do know this car would cost way more to "restore" than it will ever be worth. Nice, low mile Pace cars are going for $20-28,000, and it would cost close to that to resurect this poor thing.

Run from this one!  Noah didn't even see that much water.

Here's another one, but with 8 miles. Kinda makes the rusty one look like a bargain....

I tend to agreee, I have an old falcon convert. Got it out from under a tarp in a wrecking yard, floor pans were bad, but the interior and engine bay didn't look as bad as that car! It's been sitting in my unconditioned shop for the last 8 years and it's just getting dusty, not rusty!

Even the wiring harness has to be rusted and corroded.  It would be cheaper to buy the other one, instead of fixing this one.  It could be done.  That car has to go cheap.
