I called Leland West yesterday. They told me I could only drive the car strickly for pleasure. That meant if I ran an errand in it or ever had to drive it to work or whatever because my regular driver was broke down, I would not be covered. Also, they would only cover it for the $$ I have in it. I got a great deal and want to cover for more. Does anyone know of a good company providing classic car insurance to meet my specs:
1) < 5000 miles / year (may be able to go < 3000)
2) I can drive anywhere and for whatever reason I please
3) Agreed upon value
Thanks in advance for your advice, which is always GREAT!

I have insured two classic cars with Haggerty (a '77 MGB Roadster and my '76 Vette). They require you have a locked garage in which to to keep the car, they do the agreed value insurance, etc. My Vette costs me about $60 per year for insurance with them. They ask that you send them a picture of the car so they can see what they are insuring. If you have headers or similar modifications, I understand they will insure but the cost is a little higher. I believe you can pull them up on the internet and get a quote from them through your computer.

I have Grundy Worldwide.
They offer:
agreed value (no apraisial needed if under 25k)
no mileage limitation
They require:
photo of the car
locked garage
no driver under 25
no to and from work use
Someone said they will not insure vettes newer than 1975, but I don't know if that's true.
