JOEM said: COULD YOU GIVE ME THE TOLL FREE NUMBER FOR MET LIFE? I'D BE INTERESTED IN SWITCHING COVERAGE IF THEY HAVE NO RESTRICTIONS. WHAT IS YOUR COST FOR ONE YEAR AND DOES IT INCLUDE ANY TOWS? |
"The Toy" has been covered by MetLife (Metropolitan Casualty Insurance Company) since the day I bought it back in April of 2000. I carry full coverage on it just like the rest of the family fleet with the same deductibles and options (full glass, substitute transportation and towing allowances). The driving season premium is under $60 a month and the storage premium is next to nothing (for comprehensive only). Just a phone call is needed to reinstate (in the spring) or suspend (in the fall) the full coverage.
I should qualify the premium a little though. The policy covers 4 cars (one being with a college student two states away) and a group rate for being on a payroll deduction payment plan. But they were still more reasonable than several of the 'household name' companies even without the group rate. You can catch one of Snoopy's assistants at 1-800-GET-MET1.
