Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

I wasn't sure what forum to put this in - interior? Body? Anyway...
I had new weatherstripping put on the rear bow of my convertible top. Problem is, they didn't adjust it at all, so I've had a lot of trouble getting the top up and down since. Over this last weekend, the weatherstripping started to pop out.
I will not return to the shop (for more reasons than this), so I'm trying to figure out how to get it back in place.
Is there anyone who will be at FunFest in Effingham later this month who has the needed tools and know-how to do this?
Thanks!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

If you are refering to the weatherstripping on the back where it rest's on the deck it's an easy fix. I used a wide flat tip screw driver to do mine, you do have to be carefull but it does the job. If the cord is to long it will catch on the edge of the rear deck lid and pull out the weatherstripping, just takes a little trimming to get it right. I wont be at the Fun Fest, but you will have no problem in finding someone to help, it is easy an done on the car.
Good luck and enjoy Fun Fest.
I have seen guys use a tool that is used for putting screen in screen doors. Wooden handle with a little roller wheel on it kinda like a pizza cutter. But I have used the screw driver method myself.
