You can add me in. No vette yet. It's not quite ready for the road yet.  The Auburn-Cord-Dusenberg Museum is right there also. They have a great collection of cars and cool stuff.
And right behind it is a truck and hot rod museum. Plus I have a free access to the ACD because of being a lifetime member at NCM.

Okay Gene, your turn to help.... Lets start with 2 things..... Great places to eat...... and places to lay down tierd old bones.

Thinking along the lines that there might be 20-30 folks for say lunch and dinner.

and....

A place to lay down my head at night in case I can't seem to tear myself away from the cars, the folks, and the excitement.

Once we establish some of this I will added it to the information depicted in the poll.

Ok... I haven't checked prices yet but the Marriot might be the best bet. It has a little Nightclub we could take over.  I will go there this week and try to get a good deal by guaranteeing 20 - 30. I will also get a price on a cheapie hotel that is still decent / good. We have a small house but good yard, my wife gave the OK for a cook out. So one meal can be on us if everyone likes the idea. We live in a safe neighborhood, also our house is in between the Corvette Museum and Auburn (Museum, Proteam) . As for speeding tickets ... I am considering trying to get some type of escort, not a slow one either!. Wink  There is a park near here where car shows take place, if we want that I will need a little time to set it up. As soon as we get an exact day, I will work on getting the local Vette club involved. The club is for all years of Vettes let me know if I should pursue this. I can make a flier or someone who makes good ones can do it and I will copy and distribute. I will plaster them on every C3 I see.
Great places to eat? Hooters, Outback, Steakhouses, Buffets we have all types of food and  all close to where everyone will probably stay. I will ask a few restaurants what they can do for us, and get back with you. Let me know what types of food we want and I will do the rest. If everyone wants one really good meal NOT CHEAP... Cork and Clever Restuarant across from the Marriot. Steak/ Seafood. My wife got the biggest Crab I have ever seen there. The Marriot has good food also.
Proteam does not do actual tours on Saturdays.
Let me know People.
