I'm finally getting close to finishing my 79 project and I was wondering if there was a Corvette club in the Seattle area that would welcome a member who is new to the Corvette world?

Welcome to the site, first thing first, this is the best place for C3 knowledge and family fun out there. As far as clubs in the seattle area look under the tab at top of page listing "Community" in the drop down look under "Vette Clubs" I believe there are a few listed for the seattle area. Corvette Glass, Corvette marque are a few of the BIG ONEs. there are lots more out there. We here on this site have come together several times, as a matter of fact, we just had 8 C3VR members Corvettes at a BBQ today at my house, there were also about 5 or 6 C4/C5. We had members from washington, oregon, and alaska. Look for some pictures to be posted later in the evening or week, it was a great time sending Terry off to the annual members meeting. We are planning a meeting at the Mt. Hood Corvette clubs BBQ in june and a C3VR members trip around Mt. St. Helens also in June, (Look for post in the forum section under Northwest Region)
If I can answer any other questions just ask away we try to stay connected in the great northwest. Welcome again to the site.
You have already joined the best club in the NW ,no weekly meetings and more fun.Hope you can join us in June for the Mt Hood Corvette show and the Mt St Helens cruise and BBQ.
I'll second, or third what was just said above. A lot of people don't like the concept of a "CLUB" with it's rules and by-laws, well we only have two rules; 1. You must own a C3 (which you already have) 2. Come out and "Have Fun" We had a great time at Larry's house yesterday and did alittle cruise after the great lunch he provided. As you can tell we are an online club/family of C3 owners but welcome anyone who wants to join us, we don't discriminate against C4,5, or C6 owners

June 28th we are planning a cruise around Mt St Helens and we would like to encourage you to join us. Heres a link to that post. Mt St Helens Volcano Tour
So all that said, Welcome to the C3VR and so come on out and have some fun with us. You've gotta try us out atleast once before joining the big Corporate Clubs
