Hey . Anybody know of movies with which our C3s are in?
I found one movie the other day called "Corvette Summer" with Mark Hamill and it was based around a C3 through the whole movie.
I was just curious if you all have seen other movies or shows with C3s in them.

I've got a dvd set on the 50 years of Corvettes. More of a documentary than a movie, but some good C3 coverage...

It was a very short lived car in this movie. The car was a '68 I believe. They where flying around a corner in the beginning of the movie, and they hit a pile of gravel, causing the car to catapult through the air and breaking in 2 once it hit the ground.

There was a Magnum P.I. episode where a lifeguard friend of Magnum's drove a brown 80 vette.
In Terms of Endearment, Jack Nicholson drove a 78 vette.
In Apollo 13, Tom Hanks drove a 71 vette.
There's a black chrome bumper C3 in Rush Hour, driven by Chris Tucker.

I can't remember the name of the movie 
,It was about convicts being transported,from one prison to another,and the bad guys took over the plane,there was a nice Vette in it that belonged to one of the F.B.I. guys.it ended up getting snatched up by the plane and crashing to the ground.I got it ,I got it,CONAIR

Ron, I believe that was a C2.
I've seen this topic come up a few times and never saw this one mentioned. The opening scene in one of the Dirty Harry movies, I think Magnum Force, the camera follows a nice looking early C3 with fender flares for a couple of minutes along the highway until the camera veers off to the bad guys in a parking lot.
