Hello all, I have traced my 69 History back to the Year 1986 and even Talked to the Owner who Bought it then. At that point He Bought it at an Auction so He has no Idea who owned it before. I have His title wich Shows the Car came from Ohio but there DMV came up Cold tracing the Title Number or the Vin. They said that there Paper Records are Thrown out after 10 Years and the Computor Files are from 1996 on. I'm sure this Happens more often then not so what if anything can I do to get the Scent Back Traceing this Car Down. Thanx...Richard.......

I'd be interested in the answers.  I, too, am trying (unsuccessfully) to trace my love's pedigree.  Isn't easy after 36 years, is it?  Keep on keepin' on, bro.

Get under the car and feel on top of the Fuel Tank for the factory sticker the assembly guys used to build your car. Be careful though cause the tank sticker is very very fragile.....

Other than that,  the ownership history is a faded trail....

Maybe the auction house that guy bought it from keeps good records?
