The March 2008 edition of Corvette Magazine arrived today.  Several articles about C3s and well as the market pricing report.  No minus signs in the percent change column, only a few N/C (no change).  Positive changes seemed to be in the 3 - 5 percent range on average.

Corvette Magazine is my favorite Corvette publication. I love the market reports. They are very informative. The future of C3's looks very promising as more time goes by. It's great to see there are no losses, and at least some small gains overall.

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
After looking at all of the magazines out there, I too subscribe to Corvette Magazine.  I suppose the Market Reports are probably one of the reasons.

I was surprised to find two errors in this month's issue.

One - in the article about 73's and 74's, they showed a picture of a 75 - you can tell by the "bumperettes" in front and back.

Two - in the Tech Nerd section, a comment was made that 85 mph speedos were introduced in 78.  I don't recall precisely, but I thought they came in during 79 and that all 80-82's had them.

I still love the mag though!!  It shows my 'vert up almost $6K (20%) in the two years since I bought it!  Don't worry, as I told my wife, I'd be hard pressed to get what they say it's worth out of it.  Not that it's for sale!

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.
I like to read that the C3s are getting more valuable. Sometimes (I think) this is a good thing to tell my wife. Wink!!!
Mine is a '79 and I have no dreams of it ever being a big money car. However, if it's value can increase as a result of it being grouped in with other more valuable C3s, I don't mind one bit.
My C3 is the most valuable Vette in the entire world to me. 'Reason is that I have the keys to it and it sits in my garage.
'Nuff said.
