basically my GF has a 1978 C3 and it has "official pace car on side of doors with other writing. Her father is original owner and the car is in near mint condition and has 26,000 original miles on it. I am just trying to help them get the price they can for the car if they ever sell it.

There is a site out there that does exactly that, but I have it on my computer at work and I won't get back til Wed. I thought it was Classic Corvettes or something. If I come up with it I'll let you know.

Corvette Enthusiast Magazine has a auction report in every issue. In the Aug issue they had 3 78 PC's sold with the high:25,000,and the low 21,833.Hope this helps.

You can find that info at NADA.com. Click the bullet for collectible cars and follow the instructions. NADA values are ridiculously high, but most credit unions use NADA as a guide. There are wide variations in pace car prices. I know of 4 pace cars here in town, 2 with less than 100 miles and 2 with less than 20,000 miles.

Vette(s): 1978 25 anniversary blue on blue with T-tops.
These cars were ment to DRIVE not be relagated to the showroom or garage. I am sorry but me personally I could never own something that was as special as a vette and not do what the car was intended to do.
On that note I have seen them go in the mid 20's for excellent condition for the pace cars.
