Jeeeeze that was awesome!! Your car is spectacular!! This is what "Vetting" is all about! What a great hobby we are a part of! Great Q-mile time! How is that corrected vs a track run if at all?

Keep on runnin!

Great video. Good blend of pictures and music. What did you use to record the video?

hrm. time to address everyone's questions...um...engine questions...let's see, I'm at work atm, so I'd have to dig up the specs when I get home...or you can scrounge around the forum, the specs are around here somewhere.  some post back in august or september is my guess.

I'll work on uploading the three passes with no music on em so you guys can hear the car.

used my digital camera to record it, and the sound actually came out better than I thought it would.

and lastly...in regards to the difference between a dyno quarter mile pass and a track run...the track run allows for more "real world conditions"...more chance for traction loss, wind resistance vs aerodynamics, etc.  however, I was running rich when I was on the dyno, so I was definitely losing some power...and I had a poor reaction time on the 1/4 mile run...1.05 seconds.  so assuming ideal conditions, and a good reaction time, I could still hopefully run high 11s in a real-world scenario.

alright, you all wanted the videos without music, so you could hear the car...so here they are, the second horsepower pull, and the quartermile pull.

hrm...I wonder why I didn't shift into overdrive on that quarter mile pass...seems to me that only went through three gears, and I had left it in drive.

I like the second video, gets a little chirp in second gear.

On the first one I got no video but did get the sound. Your car sounds awesome.

thanks, I love the way it sounds...I just gotta find a way to keep the pipes nice and shiny...the dirt on em really seems to stick to em...they looked pretty bad before I took a pressure washer to em, and they're still fairly dirty.

you know I just thought of something...if you're getting sound but no video, make sure you're up to date with the windows media player codecs.
