I was just notified that my '76 restoration has just completed - YAY! |bouncy|

I pick the car up in 1 week and realized that I need to get a new cover.

I'm looking for recommendations for a good quality cover with locking capability. There are a few body mod's that may make a difference on which year I should get (dual mirrors, front/rear spoilers).

The car will be parked/stored in an indoor "non-private" garage.

Any recommendations?

One of the best sources out there for car covers is California Car Cover Company. I just checked out their site and they make 8 different styles for 1976 Vettes. I've purchased four covers from them in the past and all were top quality. |toungecool|

I too am looking into a cover. Mid-America has a good selection. If your car will be inside I feel most important part is keeping the environment as dry as possiable. The only thing I will need the cover for is dust protection. That's the way I see it. |cool|

I too am looking into a cover...

My car is always parked and covered indoors as well. I was looking just to keep dust out, but I also wanted to make sure that it wouldn't keep heat/humidity trapped in as well. Some of the covers that are just for dust, tend to trap moisture in the covers themselves. Since the garage where my car will be parked is not climate controlled, I went with something a little more substantial.

I spoke with the guys at ButAutomotive.com. They seemed to be very knowledgeable and didn't try to push me toward the most expense cover. I ended up with an Evolution with a locking cable. Price seemed pretty much like other locations. Just appreciated talking to someone who knew about the covers vs. just someone trying to push stock.

Good luck!

I got my cover from Mid America.
It isnt the top of the line, but close to the top.
It is used indoors mainly for dust, but is breathable.
I have been very happy with the performance of it.
