Just wanted to know if anyone in the Dallas area is going to the corvette show in Arlington on the 26th of July.

I mentioned it to Roger. Don't really know much about it. Supposedly something called Unique Corvette Club but have never heard of it, can't find it in google or anywhere. I've got a flyer, says July 26, 10am to 2pm, 2921 E Division, Six Flags Mall, Arlington, benefitting Special Olympics.
By coincidence, there's two other car shows in Arlington the same day, one from 5 - 9pm over close to me at the Fabulous 50s Diner and another from 11 - 2 at an Albertsons Grocery parking lot.

I haven't heard anything aboot it either...but I can tell ya...if it's gonna be at the Six Flags Mall parking lot, ya need to speak Spanish, carry a gun, and make sure you hang around your car ALL the time...

Not knowing anything about the Corvette show at Six Flags Mall, Roger and I weren't sure we would take our cars out there or not. I don't know if its all newer corvettes or what. I may check Corvette Forums later to see if there's any discussion about it, but seems Joel has already vetoed. We will probably go over to have a look around anyway. We had considered to go to a little show at the Fabulous 50s Diner from 5 to 9pm at the corner of Bowen and Park Row. Thats not far from where I live and its always cooler in the evenings.

Don't not go just because of what I said, ya'll!!! It's just that we used to go over to the mall there...(there was an antique mall inside, but now it's gone.) never really felt safe leaving the car in the parking lot. That's just ME!
As far as the show at the 50's diner, that's usually a good one...lots of older customs, and rods...and an El Chico right there too!
No prblems with the riff-raff in that location, but it is one of them thar "Good Ol Boys" shows, so if you ain't a member of their club....good luck winning anything!
The folks are ok, tho, and the music will keep ya jumpin!
Little Deuce Coupe.....

Decided to head south to San Antonio this weekend and see the grand daughters, so I'll have to catch a show some other time. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
