Topic: Dang it...another blight ticket. Update
in Forum: C3 General Discussion
Yep another blight ticket issued by the city, second one in 2 years.
I went through this last year and had everything dismissed because I met all city ordinances.
Well here comes the angry little neighbor troll complaining about the car. I explained that it met all city rules. He said "we'll see about that".
I have an appointment with the officer on the 3rd to show him what I have.
The car is fully licensed and insured. located on a concrete pad. Is fully functional (engine runs). Properly covered up. And above all it's a Corvette for crying out loud and not a pinto.
I expect the ticket to get dismissed again. As for the troll.... No soup for him!
His mother must have ignored him when he was a child.
You don't think starting it a few weeks ago at 7:30 am had anything to do with it do you???
UPDATE... I win again. The car met all ordinances and the ticket was dismissed. Starting the car was rough with low temps but it ran. I did have to get a new battery, still under warranty so no charge.
Sunday morning is looking real good for an engine test start say about 7:00am right before pancakes and bacon??? I need to clear the pipes of mouse houses.

Everyone should have Corvettes dead and alive as lawn ornaments. I want to live in that world. This world is a "no troll" zone. Good luck!

Dennis, you need to start that thing everyday at 7:30am.

Had to wait a little before I replied. Makes my blood boil when I hear about abuses by the city. I understand they want the city to look good but if they want to control how my house looks, they can buy it, rent it out, and keep it looking how they want.
We even have an ordinance that you have to take down your Christmas decorations after two weeks! I better shut up lest the NSA report my posting to the city
